Au Pair in Sweden

You are
are energetic, conscientious and enthusiastic

are between 18 and 26 years old and
have a good knowledge of English or Swedish
you enjoy spending time with children
so why don't you take the opportunity to live for a year as a part of an Swedish
host family?
You will

find out what living in Sweden is really like and
will have enough time to discover the country
You will be expected to
give quality childcare and become a reliable older "sister" or "brother"
for the children, care for them and offer companionship, love and guidance. Additionally
you may be asked to do babysitting 1-2 evenings per week. Furthermore you will
be responsible of light household duties (eg. ironing, light cleaning, washing,
vacuuming, preparing light meals).
For 25 hours and possibly 1-2 evenings babysitting per week you get
· pocket money (3500 Swedish crowns) per month
· your own bedroom
· full board ( 3 meals per day)
· two weeks vacation if you stay 12 month
What we do for you
We do our best to find the host family most suitable for you and to make your
stay in Sweden pleasant and successful. We will offer support whenever if is needed.
What we need from you
· the completed application form
· 4 passport photographs (smiling)
· photocollage (put some photos showing you with children and your family on a
piece of paper and give your comments)
· "dear family"-letter to your future host family (write about your
family, why you want to become an au pair, your experience with children, your
hobbies and interests ect.)
· medical certificate
· copy of your passport
· 2 childcare references
· 1 character reference
· Criminal background report
